ROCK N ROLL WEDDING?
Are you looking for a live Scottish wedding band to mark your special day? Do you want some good, solid rock and roll for your Scottish wedding party rather than the more traditional fare like ‘Lady in Red?’
WEDDING testimonials
"Hi, just wanted to say a massive thank you for Saturday night. I cannot tell you how impressed everyone was – firstly that we had a live band, and secondly that you were properly amazing! Everyone has commented on the music: how great it was, how up-to-date, and overall how much everyone had enjoyed themselves! A huge thank you from Vicky and Neil (Mr and Mrs Schoenhofen!), and all their family and friends."
"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, the sets were absolutely amazing and our guests have been telling us continually how good you were. It seems nobody wanted to sit down, and to have my 88 year old Gran dancing to “Sweet Child o Mine”!, wow! just goes to show that you were thoroughly entertaining for every age group! We want to do it all again!"
"We’d love to receive a copy of your DVD yes please"
"Thanks to you all once again for making our wedding just perfect. You will be the talking point for many years to come."
"Best Wishes,"
Lis & Ronnie (01 Nov 2010)
Big Tuna is one of Scotland’s leading rock covers bands which has played all over the country since forming in 2003. We are also an experienced wedding band.
We don’t do Celine Dion and Chris de Burgh numbers. No offence to these artists and to those who like that type of fare for their wedding. However, it isn’t what we do! Big Tuna plays a mixture of classic and contemporary rock songs all with one intention, to get people up on their feet. We offer you wedding music with a little more attitude – we play great rock songs that will get your guests dancing and enjoying your big day.
Your wedding should be one of the best days of your life so why not ensure that you have a wedding band that can make your reception the party you want it to be with great music and a professionally run evening that puts you and your guests at centre stage.
Along with the current repertoire, some examples of which are listed below, Big Tuna is also happy to accommodate with a first dance of their choice which we will either play live or through an MP3 player if it’s not appropriate for us to play it (eg – a song by Madonna!).
Big Tuna’s wedding package includes the use of our 250W PA systems
which provides more than enough sound for most venues. We are happy to
work alongside a DJ or, to help you keep costs down, we are happy to
hook up your iPod or MP3 player to our system to play during breaks.
We also have a multi-coloured and vari-speed lighting rig which we provide.
As members of BIG Tuna, we also like to think that we scrub up well and turn up on your big day looking professional, kitted out in our black suits and all smelling sweet as roses.
So Interested in hiring a Scottish wedding band? Please contact Bill on 07974 720669 for a chat about the entertainment service we can provide for you at a very reasonable fee.
In the meantime, please check out some of the songs we include in our wedding repertoire below.
